Culligran Estate offers double-bank fishing on the River Farrar, over 5 miles, divided into 3 beats. In this stunning location, there are many rocky pools and fast streams, including over 30 named pools. Daily permits are available from the estate for both salmon and brown trout and fishing is by fly only. The Farrar is a great fishing spot for all levels, from beginners to experienced fishers. It is such a beautiful, peaceful place to fish within the magnificent Glen Strathfarrar.
The estate also manages Culligran Cottages, a collection of self-catering cottages and chalets which are family-friendly and dog-friendly. They offer the perfect accommodation for a Glen Strathfarrar fishing holiday. This is the only holiday accommodation within the glen, and there is much to see and do there, including walking, cycling and wildlife watching. Located close to the village of Struy, 10 miles from Beauly, and within easy reach of Glen Affric, Loch Ness and Inverness. Popular with hill-walkers, there are mountains on either side of the glen, including several Munros and two Corbetts.
